As a seasoned carpenter and home renovation enthusiast, I have a passion for transforming spaces into stunning works of art. My journey into the world of carpentry began under the guidance of my grandfather, whose teachings ignited a lifelong understanding of the beauty of woodworking.

I have been working in the field for over 18 years. With my enjoyment of construction being amplified again after I built my own home here in Durham in 2020. Since then I have transitioned away from teaching and moved full time into home renovations, and custom carpentry projects. I thrive on the challenge of bringing my clients' visions to life. From the custom reframing of rooms that better suit the clients needs to full-scale backyard renovations.

When I am not on a jobsite or coaching,  you can find me enjoying the company of my pups, Lulu and Kiddo. You can spot me around town as I will have one in a backpack, and the other one attached to my hip.

Transitioning from a career in education as a math teacher to pursue my passion for carpentry was a natural progression for me. It's a decision I've never looked back on, as it has allowed me to combine my love for craftsmanship with my knack for problem-solving and creativity.
